I usually avoid Mexican-inspired food as I've never had much luck with it in the past, but this small restaurant completely changed my mind. Their pulled pork dish, with a perfect smoky flavor, was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were impressively big, making it excellent value for money, especially compared to larger Mexican chain restaurants. The prices here are affordable, which is rare given the quality of the food. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for great flavors without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. Five stars!

I follow this place in Instagram, tried it for the first time and we were not disappointed, flavours are amazing, portion sizes... well enough for leftovers the next day. He has totally nailed the corn bread! My only other experience with local smoker texan BBQ style food is at the Pub in Advancetown. The Butt Hut certainly out preforms that pub on both price, portein quantity, and of course quality/flavour. We will be back Friday night, and bringing freinds this time. Thanks Marcus! Love your work :-) .... I'll feel a Franchise chain coming in the future... hit me up x

The Butt Hutt is Located within Petro’s Corner Shops on Tibbing Street. Very friendly and welcoming guys. Nice Décor, but limited indoor seating. Had the Smokehouse Box. Exceptional value for money at $35. There is enough food in the box for 2 Hungry People ! Good variety of food. Really liked Everything. The Smoked Sausage was a bit different. Also had the Hawaiian Punch. That was Very Tasty.

Tasty food, good portion size. I was definitely sad on the amount of bbq sauce they put on top. Just a tiny little dash - hopefully they fix this (note that most of the yellow you see is the cheese sauce which I reckon they could probably do without but I’d love more of that flavourful bbq sauce)

We went to The Butt Hutt today after hearing all the good things about it. We definitely weren’t disappointed. They’re super busy so there was a little wait on the food but nothing to fuss about. We had the birria tacos and upgraded to beef brisket for an extra $4 as I don’t eat pork. The food was really tasty, couldn’t fault it! And very filling! The only feedback I’d give and it’s neither here nor there, but the kids meals have heavily seasoned curly fries in them, and my friends 5 year old daughter was losing her mind a bit as she found them very spicy. They weren’t spicy for us when we tasted them, but had a strong seasoning on them so it was a bit much for her little taste buds… I can understand why she struggled. My only suggestion would be to offer plain salted fries for kids in the kids meals so they’re a bit more gentle on their little tongues. I’m not a huge brisket or pulled meat fan, but I wanted to try this place. I loved the tacos and I’d eat there again!

After an intense 9k run with 60 obstacle courses, my friends and I decided to check out this place—and we were really impressed by the food. Every dish was carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. Even though we’re local Gold Coast residents, I was so taken by the experience that I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Whether you’re recovering after a workout or just in the mood for a great meal, I highly recommend giving it a try.
